DISTRICT 230 MAINTAINS TRADITION OF FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY
Updated: Dec 31, 2020

“Nearly half of all Illinois school districts are in deficit spending at any one time. District 230 being able to stay in the black for nearly two decades is a tremendous accomplishment,”District 230 Board member Pat O’Sullivan said.
Since 2011, District 230 Board members have been elected on the 230 United slate. O’Sullivan’s running mates, Dave O’Connor and Mike Hardek, echoed the tremendous fiscal news. “So many districts are not financially secure, but the tremendous leadership of the district, has paid dividends for both the students and taxpayers,” O’Connor said. Mike Hardek added, “District 230 has a solid 25 year facilities plan to insure the needs of students and residents will be met for years to come.” O’Connor and Hardek will join O’Sullivan on the 230 United slate.
