SSG: May 30th: Community Consolidated School District 146, which serves parts of Orland Park, Tinley Park, and Oak Forest, has been recognized by the Association of School Business Officials International with the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting. It marks the or the 23rd consecutive year the district has been given the distinction.

"I have been a volunteer in District 146, either on the support committees or the Board of Education, since 1993," said District 146 Board member Dean Casper. "Everyone associated with our great district worked very hard to achieve this great accomplishment and even harder to maintain fiscal excellence for nearly a quarter century, an amazing feat."
Casper continued, "When you think about all the challenges that school district have faced since 1996, maintaining fiscal excellence through good times and bad, it is a tremendous testament to the leadership of District 146."
